And furthermore
- from the north to the south:
In Engelskirchen you can find the Rheinisches Industriemuseum Engelskirchen, which is dedicated to the industrialisation of the area and in Lindlar you can spend a nice country-life day at the open-air museum Lindlar.
We also recommend a visit to the monkey- and bird-park Eckenhagen, phone +49 (0)2265 8786; Homburg manor house and the historic town centre of Nümbrecht.
Our very special recommendation is the Silberhardt mine near Morsbach, phone +49 (0)2292 19433. Although it is not situated near to our line you can nevertheless get a first-hand experience how the miners worked back then and also in the mines near to our line.
And as we have just arrived at the river Sieg - why not visit the open air Windeck museum village?
