Rolling Stock of the "Bergischer Löwe"

The trains of the "Bergischer Löwe" are jointly provided by the Dieringhausen Railway Museum and the Wiehl Valley Railway and consist of two trainsets:

The steam train is composed of  balcony-ended coaches (so called "thunder cans"), which are hauled by the steam locomotive "Waldbröl". The train belongs to the Dieringhausen Railway Museum. Often it is supported by the diesel shunter No. 323 133 of the Aggerbahn (owned by Andreas Voll) for shunting and in case of longer trains as pilot loco.

The Wiehltalbahn's multiple unit is made up of the railcar VT 1 and - in the case of many passengers - the driving trailer VS 235. On railcar-only days the traffic is carried by this railcar (possibly together with the driving trailer).
